LEARN MORE ABOUT CAM INTERNATIONALThe reason for CAM's existence is to produce and empower committed followers of Jesus Christ in Spanish-speaking areas to reach the world. This is our compelling motivation and passion. And supporting this mission is the focus of every CAM missionary. Transformation is at the core of all of the activity in which our CAM family is engaged. At the end of the day, after outreach strategies are discussed, after ministries are planned, and after significant energies are exerted, our heart’s desire is to see lives changed. We long to see individuals, families, even cities and nations transformed for Christ’s glory! Our efforts are aimed at making disciples among Spanish-speakers globally. This vision is a process of inviting individuals, igniting communities and impacting nations... INVITE. Transformation begins with an invitation, an opportunity to connect with our Savior. On the most basic level, this invitation is a picture of CAM’s focus on relationships, presenting the opportunity for individuals to hear and respond to the good news of salvation. CAM is inviting people to connect to Christ and to each other in relevant community through a committed focus on evangelism and discipleship, as well as the establishment and development of healthy and culturally relevant churches. IGNITE. The spark that gets the fire going in the life of a maturing believer is the growing passion for seeing others transformed as they have been. And transformation is best facilitated in the context of community. One transformed life leads exponentially to many others being transformed through relational influence. CAM is committed to preparing and empowering globally effective servants of Christ, transformational leaders with capacity and contagious passion to reach others IMPACT. CAM’s disciple-making vision aims for nothing less than global transformation. Our distinctive identifying context has been and will remain the Spanish-speaking world. But Spanish-speakers are no longer only the target of CAM’s regional ministry, they are also now our colleagues in global ministry. Cross-cultural and often multinational teams, serving in countries where Spanish may or may not be the mother tongue, are being propelled as catalysts of change for maximum global impact.
