Gifts in honour/memory of may be made by cheque or credit card. To make a gift “in honour” of or “in memory” of a family member or friend, please include a note with your cheque indicating the name of the person you wish to honour or remember (please do not write this on the cheque).  If you are making your gift via Canada Helps, include a similar note in the comments box.  This automatically assigns your gift to the honoree’s account. If your gift is in memory of your loved one, you may designate a specific project or it will be assigned to the CAM Canada Ministry Fund.

Canada Helps allows you to give to CAM missionaries and projects from the comfort of your computer. Send monthly or occasional electronic bank transfers by credit card.

• Canada Helps is a registered charity that processes secure, online donations on behalf of Canada's registered charitable organizations.

   

• Canada Helps assesses a 3.9% transaction fee on each donation so the missionary will not receive the full amount you give.  This amount is deducted before the donation is sent to CAM Canada and covers all credit card merchant rates, transaction fees, banking costs, receipting, reconciliation and disbursement incurred by Canada Helps.

   

• Giving through Canada Helps is great for occasional gifts or small monthly donations.  For regular monthly giving, we recommend setting up an automatic bank withdrawal.

   

• Within minutes of making a donation through Canada Helps, you will receive an official electronic income tax receipt by email.  Be sure to save this receipt in your tax file because income tax receipts will not be issued by CAM Canada for donations made through Canada Helps.

   

• Your credit card statement will show a charge from Canada Helps, not from CAM Canada.
