At its May 1, 2000 meeting, the Board of Directors named Daniel Wicher as president-elect of CAM International. He took over that responsibility on October 1, and was officially installed on November 12, 2000.

 

Dr. Wicher and his wife Susan served with CAM in Mexico from 1985 to 2000. He taught at Puebla Bible Seminary and served as Mexico Field Director from 1991 to 2000. The Wichers founded the Tlalpan Bible Church in Mexico City in 1985.

 

Dan earned a bachelors degree in chemistry from the State University of New York at Geneseo, graduated from the Advanced Studies Program at the Moody Bible Institute, earned a masters degree in missions from Columbia International University, and in 2009 earned a D.Min. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

 

Prior to joining CAM, he worked as a project engineer and consultant to the microelectronics industry for 10 years. Susan, Dan and their son Peter live in the Dallas area and currently attend Lake Ridge Bible Church in Mesquite, TX.
