U.S. Board of Directors 
| Mr. Jon Campbell, Board Chair, was appointed to the Board in mid-2000. Jon earned a Th.M. degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a law degree from Texas Tech University. He is an attorney with the law firm of Chamblee & Ryan, working in the areas of general litigation and nonprofit law and is also an adjunct professor at Dallas Baptist University. Jon is the co-founder of Legal Ministries, an evangelical Christian-based legal ministry to the poor. He also serves as a member of the board of Nonprofit and Church Legal Trends and as Secretary on the Board of Lone Pine Ministries. He is the President of the Dallas Chapter of the Christian Legal Society. As a young teen, Jon traveled with his family on a driving trip to SETECA, where he met many CAM missionaries and has vivid memories of his time there. He and his wife, Wanda, have three daughters. | | Dr. Walt Baker, Board Vice Chair, was appointed to CAM's Board in 1982 and served through 2004. After a year's hiatus, Dr. Baker returned in 2006 and has been appointed as Vice Chairman of the Board. He served with CrossWorld in Haiti, West Indies for ten years. He then served as Director of the Department of Missions at Lancaster Bible College from 1968 to 1973. In 1974 he became a professor in the Missions Department at Dallas Theological Seminary, and although he officially retired in 1995, continued to assist the Missions Department at DTS through July 2008. Inn July 2008 he will begin serving as Minister at Large with CrossWorld. Walt and his wife, Dottie, have four grown children and eight grandchildren are avid collectors of seashells, pre-Columbian artifacts, and Haitian art. | | Ms. Shari Carroll is the Executive Director of Marketing and Development at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship. Shari’s scriptural motto for God’s call on her life is -“In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5: 16 As the Executive Director of Marketing and Development, Shari’s responsibility is to initiate a marketing and fund development plan that reflects the values of the Kingdom of God using multiple strategies to increase revenues and promote the positive image and message of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship and its visionary, Dr. Tony Evans. Shari holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. She has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management with an emphasis on management, program development, marketing and fundraising. Shari accepted Christ as her personal Savior in 1984 at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship with Dr. Martin Hawkins. Her spiritual gifts include leadership, administration, teaching and discernment. Shari is a single and satisfied Christian woman and enjoys being the caregiver for her parents. She also has a passion and love for animals. Born in Corsicana, Texas, her parents are Otto and Carolyn LaVonne Carroll. | | Mr. Paul Dyson began his tenure on the board in 2004. Paul is a Business Director for GuideOne Insurance Company for California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii. He is a native Texan and grew up in the Dallas area. Paul graduated from Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama where he met his wife, Ginny. Due to company relocations from Alabama to California the Dyson’s have been involved in several churches, serving in leadership roles as well as the initial start-up stages of more than one, which has impacted their lives and spiritual perspective. At present they are members of Faith Bible Church in DeSoto, Texas. Paul’s connections to CAM began in childhood, growing up in a Dallas area church that supported CAM missionaries. In his parents home praying for CAM missionaries was a daily family activity. Paul enjoys golf and Ginny is a bird watcher. Together they enjoy visiting historical sites. | | Mr. Aaron Farmer is an architect, Vice President and one of three Principals of Booziotis & Company Architects in Dallas, Texas. Aaron’s professional work is focused on programming, planning and design for the arts, education, civic and community services and worship. Several of his projects have received design awards. Aaron obtained his Master of Architecture Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1980, where he served on the Alumni Association Board for nine years, and one term as President. He has practiced as an architect in Dallas since 1980. Aaron married Carolyn in 1991. Though originally from Chicago, Carolyn is a Baylor University graduate, and a long time employee of Doctor’s Hospital at White Rock Lake, serving as House Supervisor and more recently as Charge Nurse for the Day Surgery Center. Aaron and Carolyn share life long interest in music, and both have been life long choir members. Aaron and Carolyn are members at Northwest Bible Church, where he served as a hand bell director for almost fifteen years, as choir director for two years, and is currently a bible class teacher. In addition to music, both love to cook-Carolyn has worked professionally in catering and cake baking. Both love to travel and Aaron loves to spend hours in the garden. | | Mrs. Sharon Geiger is Senior News Director at KCBI/Criswell Communications, a Christian radio ministry serving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and beyond. Sharon is an award-winning broadcast journalist, and in addition to other projects, has documented the work of several short-term missions’ efforts, i.e., the work of CAM International and HELPS International in Guatemala, Shoes for Orphan Souls in Russia, the work of Amazon Outreach in Brazil, and the tsunami relief outreach of Gospel for Asia in India. Sharon is a graduate of Grace University in Omaha, Nebraska. She and her husband, Don, have a teenage son, Wesley, and are members of Redeemer Bible Church in Dallas. | | Dr. Oscar Lopez and his wife, Peggy, joined CAM in 1968 and served in Guatemala. He was manager of CAM's radio arm, TGNA and a professor at CATS (Central American Theological Seminary). He was also a pastor-elder of a church during this time. Later, he and Peggy planted a Hispanic church in California. Oscar was a member of the committee that created and published CAM's hymnal, "Celebremos Su Gloria." In 1992, they were appointed International Worship Consultants and teachers of worship seminars in all the CAM fields. Later, they moved to the States and now serve as Teachers and Pastors' Conferences speakers. Oscar was named to CAM's Board in 1999. He is presently a professor in the Pastoral Ministries Department at Dallas Theological Seminary. He and Peggy have three grown children. | | Mr. R. Chad Moore currently is the Teaching Pastor at Sun Valley Community Church in Gilbert, AZ. Prior to this position Chad served CAM International as the Director of Stewardship from January 2002 to July of 2004 and as Assistant to the Director from May 2000 to December 2001. Chad has been privileged to build relationships with many of CAM’s major donors as well as travel with CAM to Guatemala, Mexico, Spain and Albania. He and his wife, Katrina, have been married for over seven years and have a son named Joshua. | | Dr. Roger Raymer was elected to the Board in September, 2001 and is the Senior Pastor at Lake Ridge Bible Church in Mesquite, Texas. He is also an adjunct professor in the Pastoral Ministries Department at Dallas Theological Seminary. Roger earned a BA from UCLA in American History, a ThM in Bible Exposition from DTS, and a Doctorate in Expository Preaching from Gordon-Conwell. He and his wife, Judy, have three adult children and three granddaughters. Roger loves to preach, teach, travel and play golf. | | Mr. Arturo Serna was elected to the Board in 2003 and is a civil engineer working for the City of Richardson, Texas in the Transportation Department. Arturo earned his civil engineering degree in his hometown of Monterrey, Mexico at Nuevo Leon University in 1968 and began working as a civil engineer shortly thereafter in Oklahoma. In 1972 he came to Dallas and accepted a position with the Transportation Department. In 2000 he retired from the City of Dallas and began a similar job in Richardson, Texas. His wife Cindy is a Physical Therapist who works at the Medical City Hospital and also with a home healthcare organization. They have four children, one who works in nursing, one is in the military, a third recently graduated from a university, and a fourth who is a freshman.Arturo and Cindy enjoy singing in the church choir together, and he enjoys playing classical guitar, studying astronomy, and reading. | | Dr. Charles C. Tandy became a member of CAM's Board of Directors for the first time in 1967 and served as Chairman of the Board from 1981 through 1986. After a year’s sabbatical he rejoined the Board in January 2004. Dr. Tandy has made several trips to CAM fields, some of which have been medical trips working with other Dallas doctors at the hospital founded by CAM in Honduras. Dr. Tandy is an anesthesiologist and for several years was Chief of Anesthesiology at Methodist Hospital in Dallas. He is currently Medical Director of Ambulatory Surgery at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. Dr. Tandy is past president of the Board of Trustees of Criswell Center for Biblical Studies and has served three terms on the Dallas City Council. Both Dr. Tandy and his wife, Roena, are excellent chefs and enjoy entertaining. | | Mrs. Julie Thomas is the Executive Director of the Volunteer Center of North Texas, which functions as a clearinghouse and service provider for over 1500 nonprofit organizations in Dallas, Denton, Tarrant and Collin Counties. Under Julie's leadership the Volunteer Center has initiated many innovative services related to the volunteer sector. Because of her contributions to the nonprofit sector, in 2007 she was honored as one of the Nonprofit Times' Power and Influence Top 50. Prior to joining the Volunteer Center in February 1987, Julie directed the Education Department for the Greater Dallas Chamber where she helped to design and implement the Adopt-A-School Program and a variety of other public education programs requiring strong business support. She is a graduate of Wheaton College, and she and her husband, Rich, have two grown children and grandsons. |
