How does CAM International use my donation?

CAM directs as much of your gift as possible toward the project or missionary you want to support.  For gifts to a missionary account, 13.05% is dedicated to administration and missionary support services. This percentage is lower for projects: 3%. Among other things, these funds allow CAM International to provide the following for our missionaries:

•    Godly leadership that unites the organization with a common vision
•    Recruitment of new missionaries
•    Training for newly appointed missionaries
•    Leadership formation and training for mission field directors
•    Professional counseling and spiritual formation for missionaries
•    Communications support for missionaries and the organization
•    Accounting and financial administration
•    Technical services for headquarters and field missionary personnel
•    Healthcare plan and administration for Dallas staff and field missionaries

If you choose you may also give directly to support these services and other home office functions, by designating gifts to Touch the World Partners, project 060110.  These gifts are crucial in enabling CAM International to accomplish the mission of making disciples among Spanish speakers globally.

How do I donate?

Will I Receive a tax-deductible receipt?
CAM International provides tax-deductible receipts for all financial contributors. To receive a receipt, please make checks payable to CAM International, and if applicable, indicate the specific missionary or project in the memo line. The funding will go directly to CAM International or to the person/place you designate.

Can I know a missionary’s support level?
CAM International provides up-to-date information on project and missionary support levels. For specific information, please contact us via email or phone (800) 366-2264 extension 2503.

How do I make a memorial or honorarium gift?
To make a gift “in honor” of or “in memory” of a family member or friend, make the check payable to CAM International and include “in memory (in honor) of (person's name)” in the memo line. This automatically establishes the account in the honoree’s name. If you would like to request that donations be made to CAM International on behalf of your loved one, please include this giving information in either your program or a separate hand-out.
