SHORT TERM INTERNSHIPS AND TEAMS

Every year people like you are getting out of their comfort zone to explore opportunities, experience changed lives, engage their skills and passions, and make a difference.

 

CAM’s short-term ministries are designed to provide exposure to other cultures and needs, allowing you to envision where you might fit if God were to lead you to pursue longer term ministry down the road. Opportunities for meaningful ministry and outreach are also built in to short-term experiences.
 
Ministry teams of various sizes spend anywhere from one to three weeks making a difference. Internships of 4 weeks or longer go deeper, and academic credit is often available.
 
Upcoming EMERGE Summer 2010 internships and ministry team experiences:
 
Mexico Internship: Summer ‘10
Choose a six week option beginning May 26. Live with, eat with, and worship with Mexican believers. Minister in almost any way you can imagine, including open air gospel presentations, sports, drama, English classes, music ministry and literature distribution. View PDF Fact Sheet.
Honduras Internship: Summer ‘10
Follow the ministries of CAM missionaries in partnership with local churches in a variety of service projects and outreaches in local church plants and Orphanages throughout Honduras.  View PDF Fact Sheet.
 
Guatemala Internship: Summer ‘10
Holistic ministries support, youth and children ministires, a girls home, English classes, sports ministry, and light work projects; These are just some of the wide variety of activities and ministries available for internships in Guatemala.  View PDF Fact Sheet.
 
Uruguay Internship: Summer ‘10
Uruguay is Latin America’s most spiritually needy country, with less than two percent of the population claiming to be evangelical believers. This team will serve in children’s ministry, youth ministry and will teach English as a second language in the capital city of Montevideo.  Visit PDF Fact Sheet.
 
Hispanic USA Urban Internship: Summer ‘10
With more than 40 million Hispanics in the U.S., ministry needs are abundant from coast-to-coast, especially in America’s larger cities. Serve in children’s ministry, apartment community outreach, and church planting support.  View PDF Fact Sheet.
 
Spain Internship: Summer ’10
